Install lemo iptv in four steps

This guide works for every supported device. Follow the four steps below, then use the device notes and the error table if anything looks different on your screen. Most people finish in 10 to 15 minutes.

Before you start, have these ready

  • The login details we sent you (server address, username and password, or a playlist link)
  • Your TV remote, plus your phone for reading this guide
  • At least 1 GB free storage on Fire TV and Android
  • The device on the same network you'll watch on

The four steps

From app store to first channel

  1. Install the player app

    Open your device's app store and install the player we recommended for your model. If you don't have a recommendation yet, ask us. Apps come and go, and we keep track of which ones currently work well.

  2. Add your login details

    Choose "add playlist", "add user" or similar. Enter the server address, username and password exactly as sent, or paste the playlist link. On a MAG box, enter the portal address in System settings → Servers → Portals.

  3. Load channels and the guide

    The app downloads the channel list. The first load can take a minute or two. If your app has a separate EPG field, paste in the guide link we sent.

    2–5 minutes

  4. Fine-tune playback

    Set the player's decoder to "hardware" and, if it offers one, a buffer of 2–5 seconds. Then mark your favourite channels so they're one click away.

Device notes

Anything different on your device?

Smart TV

  • Use the TV's own app store (Samsung Apps or LG Content Store).
  • Some TV apps are activated with a device code shown on screen. Send us that code and we'll link it.
  • Turn off "Instant On" or "Quick Start" if the app is slow after the TV wakes up.

Fire TV

  • Search for the player in the Fire TV app store.
  • Clear space under Settings → Applications → Manage Installed Applications.
  • Restart the stick every few days by holding Select and Play together for five seconds.

Android

  • Install from Google Play on Android TV, Google TV, boxes, phones and tablets.
  • Allow the app to run in the background if your device has aggressive battery saving.
  • Connect a cable to the box's Ethernet port for live sport.

Apple

  • Install from the App Store on Apple TV, iPhone or iPad.
  • Some good players are paid apps. We'll tell you which ones are worth it.
  • Turn on "Match Frame Rate" in Apple TV settings for smoother sport.

MAG

  • Send us the MAC address from the sticker underneath the box before set-up.
  • Enter the portal address under Settings → System settings → Servers → Portals.
  • Restart the box after saving the portal.

Troubleshooting

Common errors and how to fix them

What you seeUsual causeFix
"Invalid login" or "Authorisation failed"A typo, or an extra space copied with the detailsRe-type the details by hand. They're case-sensitive.
Channel list stays emptyThe first download hasn't finished, or the server address is incompleteWait two minutes, then check the address includes "http://" and the port number.
Picture freezes every few secondsWeak Wi-Fi or a busy networkSwitch to 5 GHz or a cable, pause other downloads, or pick the HD rather than 4K version.
Sound but no pictureDecoder settingSwitch the player between hardware and software decoding.
Guide shows "No information"EPG link not added or not refreshedAdd the EPG link we sent, then refresh the guide in the app settings.
