Android is the most flexible platform for lemo iptv, with the widest choice of player apps and the best options for a wired connection. Pick your type of device below for the steps that apply.

Android TV / Google TV
- Open Google Play from the Apps row on the home screen.
- Search for the recommended player and install it.
- Open it, add your login details and wait for channels to load.
- In Settings → Apps, allow the player to keep running in the background.
Android TV box
- Plug an Ethernet cable into the box if you can. It's the single biggest upgrade.
- Update the box's software before installing anything.
- Install the player from Google Play and sign in.
- Set the player decoder to hardware for smooth 1080p and 4K.
Phone or tablet
- Install the player from Google Play.
- Paste your playlist link or enter your login. Copy-paste is easiest on a phone.
- Turn off battery optimisation for the app so it doesn't stop mid-programme.
- Use Wi-Fi where possible; HD uses about 1.5–3 GB of data an hour.
Keep it smooth
Storage and background apps
Most Android slowdowns come from a full device or too many apps running at once.
- Keep at least 1 GB of storage free
- Clear the player's cache once a month (Settings → Apps → Storage)
- Uninstall apps you never open, especially on 8 GB boxes
- Restart the device weekly; many boxes never really switch off

Which Android box should I buy?
Look for one that runs official Android TV or Google TV, receives updates, has an Ethernet port and at least 2 GB of RAM. Avoid unbranded boxes with pre-installed "loaded" apps.
Can I cast from my phone to the TV?
Some players support casting, but it's less reliable than running the app on the TV device itself. Use casting as a back-up.
The app closes by itself on my phone. Why?
Usually battery optimisation. Set the app to "Unrestricted" in battery settings and it will stay open.
